M&K BUSINESS CONCEPT

M&K works with selected principals in wood based industries. We instigate business development, contractual agreements and joint venture building by establishing links with raw material supply resources or with industrial users of wood fibre or wood products. The service we provide consists of five basic elements:

Deliberation: An in depth study of all aspects of the business resource and consideration of market possibilities.

Identification: Localisation of potential clients, customers, and partners.

Introduction: Marketing of the business resource to potential partners.

Negotiation: The creation of the business concept, identification of common ground and support in the negotiation of the contract of carriage and in the drafting of the agreement.

Operation: Providing an operational follow up to the business agreement in the form of site visits, provision of operative information and handling contentious matters developed during the course of the execution of the agreement.

Service charge

M&K normally covers its own costs in the development of business ventures. We operate on a no cure – no pay basis. On the successful conclusion of a business development M&K will charge a service fee – normally based on a percentage of the sales value of the goods marketed. The level of the service fee is subject to prior agreement and is related to the extent of the service supplied and the costs involved in the provision of these services.

Discretionary understanding

This business development concept is based on mutual understanding and trust. It is understood that confidential information gained during the course of business development will remain confidential – unless otherwise agreed. Similarly it is understood that business introductions facilitated by M&K will be respected and M&K´s position as business developer and representative will not be circumvented.
